Having used Innokins iTaste VV for over three years I decided it was time to upgrade so having spent some time reviewing different boxmods I decided to stick with Innokin and went for the Cool Fire 4 with the iSub G tank. When I recieved it I set it up as per the instructions and also watched a video on Youtube to ensure I had everything right . On the first firing at 25 watts it made a very loud crack and was very loud throughout . I put this down to it being new and expected this to stop after a while but it did not . Also the taste was very harsh and "burnt" . I lowered the wattage and closed the vent halfway and tried again , the crack was still there but not quite as loud and the taste was still awfull . I took the wattage right down to 6 and closed the vent all the way , no crack and no vapour OK eventually I found that I could just about use the device at 10 watts vent open very slightly and with only a 3 second firing , any more than this and it was just impossible to use . I have decided that the best thing to do is to throw this device away and revert to a pen type . Total waste of over £100 . Has anyone else had this sort of problem with the Cool Fire 4?
